Volume Gradient Bars for NinjaTrader

Volume information is easily accessible for traders, but many traders overlook volume since the data is a little more difficult to interpret. Our new Volume Gradient Bars indicator colors bars based on how high/low the volume was for that particular bar. This makes it much easier to interpret the information and act accordingly. As you can see in the image below, we often see that turning points in the market are identified by bars with higher volume, and periods of choppiness are often identified by bars with lower volume.

Thank you for the great work. I installed but the color does not change. I tried parameter from 12 to 100 but it does not show eg. on 10 min or 60 min chart. I changed the color to gray and dark as the candle color is red and green but it wont show still. Any other parameters or ideas.

    1. Do you see any error messages in the Log tab of NinjaTrader when you try to load the indicator?

Yes I reinstalled and error is Failed to call method “initialize for indicator”
“TSuperTrend” BarsInProgress properly cant be accessed from within initialize method.

The same error was logged in previous install.

        1. That error is from a different indicator. Do you see any errors related to the volume gradient bars?

No this error is caused by volume Gradient bars as i removed and redid and the at same time the log added same entry as above. i dont have TS super trend on this chart. I did added it twice and both times the above error was logged.

          1. The error is not from the Volume Gradient Bars. It specifically says that the error is because the TSSuperTrend indicator is trying to access the BarsInProgress property before it is allowed. The error will go away if you fix or remove the TSSuperTrend indicator.
